Sophie Scruggs

Illustrator

Sophie Scruggs has been an artist in the pony community since 2011. Starting with handmade plush, she has evolved into enamel pin making as well as illustration for the IDW My Little Pony comic series. She is also an illustrator for the new Neopets Trading Card Game.

Trish Forstner

Cartoonist

Trish Forstner (she/her) is a cartoonist from Baltimore, Maryland, and has deep roots in the My Little Pony Fandom. Convention diehards will remember her from the Design Team of BronyCon. She has been drawing since she could hold a pencil! Her style is inspired by classic animation and comics based on 80s and 90s toons. She got her professional start in IDW’s My Little Pony comic series and continues to work on a variety of illustrations for Dynamite’s Disney Comics, Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Negaduck, Scar and Hades and Lilo & Stitch! Her most notable work would be, Eisner and Ringo Award nominated, Stray Dogs from Image Comics which was co-created with Tony Fleecs. Trish has once again joined Tony Fleecs for their new title Feral which released in March 2024 from Image Comics!

Tony Fleecs

Comic Artist/Writer

Tony Fleecs is a prolific and critically acclaimed comic book creator and TV writer. His work has sold over a million comic books in the United States and has been translated and reprinted all over the world. Tony’s creator owned books include STRAY DOGS (2021,) FERAL (2024,) UNCANNY VALLEY (2024,) LOCAL MAN (2023) and TIME SHOPPER (2022.) Tony has worked for every major U.S. comics publisher. You’ve seen his art on some of your favorite comic book titles like Star Wars, Rick & Morty, Avengers, Spider-Man, Batman, TMNT, Transformers and just a literal TON of My Little Pony. He was also a writer on the wildly popular Netflix show My Little Pony: Make Your Mark.

Andy Price

Comic Artist

Illustrator and writer, Andy Price has been the lead artist for the incredibly successful and record breaking MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC comic books from IDW Publishing. His art runs from cute little pastel horsies to horrific monsters and terrors. Andy has also done work for Storm King Publishing, BOOM!Studios, Archie Comics, DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Rittenhouse Archives, LEGO, among others. Other licenses include Adventure Time, Quantum Leap, Dark Shadows, Betty & Veronica, Star Trek. Andy is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School, and works in most mediums. He lives in Georgia, USA where he watches horror films, scoops cat boxes, and celebrates James T. Kirk’s birthday.

Jeremy Whitley

Comic Writer

Jeremy Whitley is the comic book writer who currently holds the record for writing more pony comics than any other writer with 55 issues of pony content under his belt. Jeremy is also the writer/creator of The Dog Knight, School for Extraterrestrial Girls, Princeless, Raven Pirate Princess, The Cold Ever After and many more. Aside from pony works, he is best known for his critically-acclaimed runs on Marvel’s Unstoppable Wasp and Future Foundation.

Thom Zahler

Comic Artist

Thom Zahler is a comic book creator and animation writer. He created the Line Webtoons hit series Cupid’s Arrows and Warning Label as well as the Harvey-nominated Love and Capes (with recently-released new volumes ‘Home For the Holidays’ and ‘In the Time of Covid’), Long Distance and the time-traveling wine comic Time and Vine. He also writes and draws for IDW’s successful My Little Pony series. And has written for Disney Tsum Tsum Kingdom, Star Trek Waypoint and more. On television, he has written for Disney XD’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Knights of the Zodiac. He is also very tall.

Nicole Oliver

Princess Celestia

Nicole Oliver has worked for over thirty years in the entertainment industry as an actor, producer, director and educator. She holds a BFA from York University and an MA in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University.

The multifaceted Ms. Oliver is in high demand in the television, feature film, animation, corporate communications, advertising, and video game markets. She has provided her voice-over expertise to 100s of companies including AMERICAN EXPRESS and MCDONALDS, and she has voiced innumerable animation and video game programs and properties such as MY LITTLE PONY, TOM AND JERRY, WORLD OF WARCRAFT, and the LEGO™ and BARBIE™ franchises.

Ms. Oliver’s credits in film and television as a performer include numerous leads and supporting leads in various MOWs, television shows and feature films. Nicole is also thrilled to collaborate with the entertainment community as a voice director. Recent voice directing projects include: LEGO™ FRIENDS, EGGVENTURERS, and the Emmy® nominated MOLLY of DENALI.

Ms. Oliver believes that diversification is the key to success, and that with success in life there can be balance. She resides in Vancouver with her husband, their two sons, and their notoriously difficult cat, Leonard.

AJ Bridel

Pipp Petals

AJ Bridel is a true multi-hyphenate performer, known for work on stage, screen and throughout animated series. First discovered by Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber on his search for Dorothy (runner-up), AJ quickly found her footing one stage, with notable credits including; Sherrie Christian, Rock of Ages (More Entertainment; Dora Nomination), Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables (Charlottetown Festival), Leading many seasons of the Ross Petty Pantomime, and for her starring turn in Mirvish Production’s Kinky Boots. On screen, AJ’s appeared on series including Odd Squad (PBS), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Accused (Fox), and in the booth AJ is most known for her starring role of Pipp Petals on My Little Pony, and additionally recurs on series including Caillou, Glowbies, Blues Clues and more.

Andrew Francis

Shining Armor

Andrew Francis is best known as the voice of Shining Armor on “My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic”. In addition to playing the role of Twilight Sparkle’s BBBFF, he’s also provided the voice of Night Light, Shining and Twilight’s father. Outside of MLP, Andrew has worked on a variety of shows; including Gil Nexdor on “Johnny Test”, Lance McClain in “Voltron Force”, Ty Rux in Dinotrux for Dreamworks, Morro in Lego Ninjago, and Max McGrath in Max Steel for Mattel. On screen, he is well known for staring in the Hallmark original series ‘Chesapeake Shores’ as Connor O’Brien.

Rebecca Shoichet

Sunset Shimmer

Rebecca is known for her multiple roles in “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic,” most prominently as the villain turned hero Sunset Shimmer, and the singing voice for Twilight Sparkle. In addition, she has voiced other well-remembered characters such as Night Glider and Sugar Belle.

Rebecca’s voice acting career expands well beyond “MLP”, with some of her credits in animation including Wisteria in “Littlest Pet Shop,” Jane in “Tarzan and Jane,” Apple Dumpling in “Strawberry Shortcake,” and numerous characters in “Enchantimals: Finding Home.” In addition, she has also provided voices for characters in English-dubs of Japanese anime such as “Nana Osaki” and “Inuyasha.”

Outside of her studio work, Rebecca sings live with the bands Mimosa, Soulstream, and Side One. She has also toured with pop/rock artists Amanda Marshall and Tom Cochrane.
